My new favorite::: The Jane Marvel Metro in RED! This is the best bag - it fits everything. Folders, keys, miscellaneous stuff, great for shopping - all while looking pretty darn fabulous! Actually, I'm pretty enamored with all the new Jane bags. We have our first few in stock - Chelsea Hobo, Metro and this Bucket tote. Smooth nylon exteriors with interesting patterned linings. Title: ISNY Collection Scarves
Found some great scarves from a supplier in India! Handloomed, pretty patterns in silk and viscose. Kind of a 'boho' feel, you can tell they're handmade. Each one is different, unique. LIttle imperfections, variations in threads, etc. make them interesting! Picked up some lightweight and sheer scarves that are sooo perfect for the summer months. Most are wide enough to be used as wraps. LOOOVVE them!

OK, had to have one of the Jane Marvel satchels for my very own... and love it! Not only is it the perfect size for everything but it's just too cute! I've got the zebra in beige/taupe with the bronze handles.

I think that itf Kim Kardashian wore any item in my store it would sell immediately. Wow, the power of celebrity. And for no apparent reason either! OK, she's gorgeous and has great hair. She was photographed in that Tolani stud scarf and it became nearly impossible to get. They're almost gone. Amazing.

Title: Been a long winter...
Well NYers, we were dumped on with a couple feet of snow, rained on, flooded and pummelled by falling trees... but it's finally over. Spring is in the air (which is still kind of chilly btw) and we're looking for some bright colors to accessorize with.

Just got the LQ scarves and the colors are sooooo gorgeous I want them all! It took months to get them in and I have about a dozen colors. These can be worn year 'round they're so light and airy.

Got the shearling samples from the land of OZ! Oz Boots are awesome. Only have a couple right now because some of the styles I requested are backordered. But I will take special orders on the wrap and buckle styles if you want them. Just email me for info.

I'm not kidding. It was actually 3 degrees one morning this week when I got in the car.
On a warmer note, I've been checking out some new accessories. Tokyo Bay has some fun items. Their watches were just featured in Oprah. The spring line of Tolanis is great. Also found a line called Bauxo that makes great belts. Plus one called Rough Roses.

Will it ever stop? More snow floating down as I write... Really, the only thing I like about winter is being able to wear my collection of ugg boots. Just got some fantastic boots from Australia called Oz Boots. I'm going to feature a few pair for sale very soon. Expensive little addiction.

Title: Black Friday
Here's my contribution to smart shopping for Black Friday! I found these black & tan suede boots with shearling trim & at first look they appeared to be unbranded in a plain white box. Happened to peek inside & turns out they're Steve Madden overruns! You know how they cross out the label so they can't be returned to a SM store? Well, they are a take-off on a Gucci boot and are fantastic. Then I found more in white beigey color that actually are unbranded. Of course, I kept a pair in black and to top it off I have to say that the gummy wedge makes them really comfortable.

OK, I know you've seen those Australian boots on everyone's feet. But guess what ladies... they may have Australia on their label, but they're mass-produced in China. And they're just not what they used to be when they first came in 'vogue'. We are thrilled to partner with an actual Australian bootmaker who's been in the business for decades. They make these Ugh (yes, that's how they spell it in Australia) boots that are just amazing. They are premium shearling and you can't compare the quality to the China boots. OK... we've got a few really great pieces by rock-n-roll performer & designer Justin Tranter. NYC chic at its best.
Tranter is a NYC singer (his band is called Semi Precious Weapons) who designs a high-end line done in gold & diamonds as well as these fabulous pieces. They're seen at Barney's Co-op. If you don't want to spend hundreds on diamonds BUT love this look, the Fame line is just as fabulous looking and affordable to boot. Done in Austrian crystal. Love them!

Title: Why I like Jane Marvel
Jane Marvel bags are just amazing. All shapes & sizes, great patterns, pockets & compartments. I love these because they make great style affordable. And, you can have a few matching pieces for travel so you look great for the weekend at the bed & breakfast.
Just added two patterns in the medium overnight bag and they are great! Perfect size for everything + a shoulder strap. The computer bag & computer messenger bags are new too & a must-have for those of us who hate dragging that black laptop case around town. Also check out the runaround in pearls - adorable.
The sunshine pattern is bright & different and I can't tell you how many compliments I receive on my mile-high bag at the gym.
